The total ongoing economic impact associated with Salish Landing is estimated to be 298 jobs, $15.3M in new labor income, and $40.2M in total economic output. This new economic output is estimated to generate $3.6M in state and local tax revenues.
The project’s construction phase is estimated to create an additional 2,380 jobs, $168.9M in new labor income and $336.9M in total economic output. The construction period is also projected to generate $15.1M in state and local tax revenues.
Salish Landing will be an economic driver for Tumwater and Thurston County, adding jobs and tax revenue while serving the needs of the community for housing, services and recreation.
